WhatsApp Event Registration Form Template

Registration forms that ask for an email get you an email list. Registration forms that ask for a WhatsApp number get you a channel you can actually reach people on the morning of the event. This template does the second thing.

Great for

• A workshop, meetup or conference taking sign ups
• A class, bootcamp or training session with limited seats
• A community event promoted through WhatsApp groups and Status

Collect the WhatsApp number as a phone question and say plainly why you want it. People give it up readily when the reason is "we will send you the venue details and any changes", and that message on the day is what turns a registration into an attendee.

Keep the ticket type question even for free events. It tells you the mix you are catering for, and if you later add a paid tier the form does not have to change shape and confuse people who have seen it before.
