WhatsApp RSVP Form Template

Chasing an RSVP through a family group chat is how you end up catering for the wrong number. This template gives everyone one link to tap, and each reply arrives in your WhatsApp as a message with the headcount and the dietary needs already sorted out.

Great for

• A wedding, engagement or anniversary invitation
• A birthday party or family gathering organised over WhatsApp
• A dinner, reunion or private event with a fixed headcount

Ask for the guest count as a number, never as free text. "Me and the kids" is not a number you can give a caterer, and a bounded number question with a sensible maximum stops the one person who types 200 as a joke.

Put the attending question second, right after the name. Guests who cannot make it can then finish in two taps, which is exactly what makes them respond at all rather than leaving your list unresolved until the week of the event.
